A Pirate and Skrillex                                  

As promised! Here are our costumes. Now I ended up not being Katy Perry because I already had this pirate costume in my closet. (I bought it last year but wasn't able to wear it because I got sick!) I wasn't able to find this exact costume on Amazon, but I did find this version, which is pretty similar. I think the detail that makes it stand out from other pirate costumes is the petticoat. Most people would skip this detail but I think it really helps the costume. This petticoat is really affordable and well worth the money. (Trust me.) I was able to find a red one, but white or black would work well.  I already had the boots and fishnet stockings but added this pirate hat.  As for accessories, I added a skull and crossbones necklace. The costume came with a neck tie but I didn't like it as much. Or add some cocktail rings for extra bling. Now you're ready to go!
